Thank you to FirstEnergy Corp. in Cleveland Ohio and The Illuminating Company (a division of FirstEnergy) for their purchase of a Linecat 724G. We would also especially like to thank Mike Dunlap, Mike Meyers and Paula Toohey for helping the process along.

While in Louisville, we were asked by Tennessee Valley Authority to perform a demo of Linecat on an in-field pole change that TVA anticipated would take multiple days to complete, and the job would require construction of an earthen platform at the site.
With Linecat on the project, the job took four hours from start to finish and the need for a platform was eliminated. Over 20 observers representing a number of utility companies gave nothing but positive feedback regarding Linecat’s versatility, overall capability, and due to its low-ground pressure—environmental friendliness.
TVA went on the purchase the 830G used for the demo and to date has been working that equipment since November 12, 2007. TVA representatives indicate that they are extremely satisfied with the 830G.
If all goes as planned, we will complete an 824G model by mid-February. Please call for more details. If you want to know more about the success of Linecat for TVA, feel free to contact one of the TVA representatives below:
